Boise Co-op hires its first CEO
BOISE, Idaho (CBS 2) — The Boise Co-op has hired its first ever chief executive officer.
The store's board of directors says they hired Michelle Andersen to lead its staff of 230 people at its two stores Boise's North End and in the Village at Meridian.
“Michelle has a well-rounded leadership background and a track record of success in developing culture and high-performing teams,” said Shannon McGuire, president of the Boise Co-op board of directors. “We look forward to having her on board with us as CEO.”
Prior to joining the Boise Co-op, Andersen was head of branding and operations at QuickFish, a startup of fast-casual restaurants focused on sustainable food. Michelle also has more than 20 years working with Starbucks in multiple roles, most recently as the Regional Director of the Mountain West where she oversaw a team of 2,000 employees, 100 stores and over $150 million in annual sales.
