Joe Boyland Dies
NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Industry veteran Joe Boyland passed away from heart failure in Nashville on March 17th at the age of 61.
Boyland most recently worked as a manager and producer, running his company Big Street Entertainment and serving as a consultant for Eagle Rock Entertainment, Billboard reported.
Before 2000, Joe was partnered with Jan Roeg and Bob Cutarella at Legend Artist Management, managing bands such as Nazareth and Bad Company.
Joe was also known for his production work and worked with a number of artists on recordings, including Skynyrd's "Live From Steeltown."
"There has been such a heartfelt outpouring of people calling me to remember Joe and how he touched a lot of people," Eagle Rock U.S. president Mike Carden told Billboard. "Joe made everybody's life better in any way he could."
