A Mexican man has been sentenced to 16 years in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine in Nampa, Idaho.

According to U.S. Attorney Josh Hurwit, 49-year-old Sergio Cisneros-Guzman also known as Salomon Hernandez Medina, a Mexican citizen who is residing in Nampa illegally, was sentenced to 16 years in federal prison after an investigation led by the FBI-led Treasure Valley Metro Violent Crimes Task Force was found to be trafficking large amounts of methamphetamine and firearms through his landscaping business Rolling Hills Nursery.

Undercover officers made six controlled buys at Ciseros-Guzman's Nursery totaling around 2 kilograms of methamphetamine and also purchased an AR-style rifle with a high-capacity magazine.

Officers searched the nursery and seized an additional 100 grams of methamphetamine, eleven firearms, and $117,264 in cash.

During sentencing the government showed evidence that Cisnero-Guzman told the undercover officer who purchased the AR-style rifle and high-capacity magazine “One thing is for sure, if you are involved in a massacre, don’t tell no one who sold it to you. If you want to use it, make sure to clean your fingerprints from the rifle and the ammo.”

Ciseros-Guzman was ordered to serve five years of supervised release following his prison sentence, he also agreed to forfeit the Rolling Hills Nursery, $117,264, eleven firearms, magazines and high-capacity magazines, and miscellaneous ammunition.

Ciseros-Guzman will also be deported after he serves his sentence.
