Tactics Ogre: Reborn How to Get Lord Class

Publish date: 2024-07-12

The Lord class is Denam’s exclusive end-game class. It gives him access to almost every skill, ability, and weapon in the game and makes him an insanely strong character for your party.

In addition, the Lord class is part of the best end-game build for Denam.

Also, unlocking the Lord class is optional, and many players can end up missing it if they don’t pay attention.

In this guide, I will explain how to get the Lord class in Tactics Ogre Reborn, as well as how to get the most value out of it.

How to Unlock the Lord Class in Tactics Ogre Reborn

To unlock the Lord class, players will need to progress the story through Chapter 4. At one point, while traveling to Barnicia Castle, Denam will end up confronting Catiua.

If Catiua dies at Barnicia Castle, Denam can become a Lord. However, keep in mind that by leaving Catiua to die, you lose one possible ending as well as the ability to unlock the Princess class for Catiua.

How to Get the Most Value out of the Lord Class in Tactics Ogre Reborn

The Lord class can be the strongest class in the game if used properly, or the weakest if you don’t take advantage of its unique ability.

Specifically, the Lord inherits all skills and abilities from Denam’s previous classes. Therefore, if Denam was only a Warrior before switching to a Lord, the Lord will have the same skills as a Warrior. This makes upgrading to a Lord fairly pointless.

However, if Denam was a Warrior, Knight, Rune Fencer, and Ninja beforehand, even if he switched to the latter classes for only one second during the end-game, he will have all the skills from each class.

As long as Denam turned into a level 30 Rune Fencer for an instance, he will have access to all level 30 Rune Fencer skills. The same goes for all classes.

Therefore, to fully utilize the Lord’s class ability, try and switch to as many classes as possible right before becoming a Lord. Then, get ready to experiment with all the unique abilities and skill combinations from all these classes.

Conclusion

To sum up, that’s everything you need to know on how to unlock the Lord class in Tactics Ogre Reborn.

All it takes is leaving Catiua to die during the Chapter 4 story at Barnicia Castle.
