WATCH: They drink bud light- Two race fans spotted in a hilarious chicken-riding costume durin
NASCAR opened the weekend with an electrifying ARCA race at Watkins Glen International. The race came to the final turn as the No.28 Chevrolet Performance Connor Zilisch led the final 34 laps of the General Tire 100. However, a pass on the last turn helped the No. 20 JBL Toyota driver Jesse Love claim his fourth consecutive win in the ARCA Menards Series.
Apart from the race, something else was going on at the track. Two fans were spotted walking around in a chicken costume. FOX: NASCAR shared the video on X (Formerly known as Twitter). The duo in the chicken riding costume were busy chatting and walking with a can in their hands. Other fans who noticed the chicken costume were amused by it.
NASCAR on Fox shared the video with the caption, “You won’t ride those giant chickens to the track. These guys: “Watch us.” It is not the first time that fans have come in unique costumes to the track. There is no doubt that these individuals are creative. However, many users found this chicken riding costume amusing and shared their thoughts on social media.

While some fans mocked the costume, others just laughed it off. “Might as well have them announce this race, at least they’re at the track!” was one of the comments. Another fan claimed, “They drink bud light.” Bud Light is an American light-lager beer that contains 4.2% of alcohol. The social media users teased the two men in the costume by calling them out for being drunk.
Another user commented, “Why did the chicken cross the Track?? To go racing. Winner, winner Chicken Dinners Those are two cool.” The fans had mixed reactions as one user called them cool, and others laughed at the costume. “Waddle right on in sit right down, and enjoy,” and “I know I would do this who else is joining me” were two comments. Though it was Connor Zilisch’s debut, he dominated and delivered a solid performance. Jesse Love praised Zilisch and called him a fantastic race car driver. Love’s win at Watkins Glen marks his 8th victory of the season. He extended his points lead in the ARCA Series. There were other notable drivers like Frankie Muniz, who is now second in the points standings. The top five results for the General Tire 100, apart from Jesse Love and Connor Zilisch, are Brent Crews, William Sawalich, and Dale Quarterley.
